• NTP of Lampung Province May 2018 for each subsector recorded Rice & Palawija Subsector (NTP-P) (114,58), Horticulture (NTP-H) (96,42), Smallholder Plantation (NTP-Pr) (99, 25), Livestock (NTP-Pt) (114.29), Fishing Fish (113.50), and Aquaculture (95.00). While NTP Lampung Province was recorded at 106.34.
• May 2018, several commodities experienced price increases, among others in food crops sub-sector, horticulture, plantation, capture fisheries and aquaculture subsectors such as cassava, some vegetables and fruits, cacao, cloves, fish catch, and some types of fish cultivation. While the livestock sub-sector experienced a decrease in prices, among others, on large livestock commodities and small livestock.
• In detail the increase or decrease of the NTP in May 2018, the food crops subsector grew 0.43 percent, the horticultural crops sector increased by 1.37 percent, the plantation crops sub-sector increased by 0.79 percent, the livestock sub-sector decreased by 0.54 percent, capture fisheries sub-sector increased by 1.37 percent, and aquaculture subsector rose by 0.83 percent. NTP Lampung Province combined by 0.48 percent.
• From the 33 provinces observed in May 2018, the highest increase in NTP occurred in West Sulawesi Province with an increase of 2.23 percent, while the largest decrease in NTP occurred in Riau Province which decreased by 1.92 percent.
• May 2018 rural areas in Lampung Province experienced inflation of 0.25 percent due to a 0.26 percent increase in the foodstuffs group, 0.19 percent for finished food, beverage, cigarette and tobacco, housing category by 0,37 percent, clothing by 0.33 percent, health group by 0.24 percent, education, recreation and sports by 0.18 percent, and transportation and communication group by 0.13 percent.
